CONFERENCE OF CALIFORNIAPublic Utility Counsel
Are you a new or aspiring CPUC practitioner? Do you want to advocate on behalf of your clients, community, or Tribe but unsure how to do that effectively? Do the CPUC processes seem weird, opaque, and intimidating?
The CCPUC Young Utility Lawyer (YUL) Section is excited to announce a two-part MCLE series just for you, although all are encouraged to attend!
This course will help make the CPUC’s processes more transparent and less intimidating, and will give you a jump start on how to advocate effectively at the CPUC. Plus, this is currently the only program that teaches the basics of how to become an active participant in all matters before the CPUC.
If anyone can demystify the CPUC processes in an approachable way, look no further than Peter Allen, who has over 25 years of experience litigating before and working at the CPUC. The program will also feature presentations from other seasoned CPUC practitioners.
The training will be held at the CPUC Auditorium (505 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco) with a live-stream option for those who are unable to attend in-person.
Each session will provide 3 - 3.75 hours of MCLE Credits.
