Examination of Systemic Bias: Increasing Diversity in All Areas of Regulatory Practice

Overview: As part of CCPUC’s commitment to addressing systemic injustices against Black individuals and people of color, this program will explore racial disparities in law school entrance statistics; hiring and promotion practices in law firms, private companies, and government entities; and overcoming biases to increase the visibility of our Black colleagues. The program will also explore ways the legal profession and our own bar association can address and change these practices and disparities in the short- and long-term.
